Our Vision
The vision of Everette L. DeGolyer Elementary is to create an inclusive and diverse environment in which the learning experiences are as exciting and innovative as the world around us.
Our Misson
The mission of Everette L. DeGolyer Elementary is to ensure 100% of our scholars are seen, heard, respected, and educated to reach their full potential.
E.L. DeGolyer is defined by high expectations for all stakeholders (staff, students, parents, and the community) and our students' academic success. We are committed to working with families and students to address academic, health, attendance, and character development issues. Parents are encouraged to be active participants in their child's education, as well as the PTA and DeGolyer Dads' Club.
In an effort to improve student achievement, the DeGolyer staff has taken great strides to increase collaborative planning and effective instruction, the constant evaluation of student learning and achievement, and the implementation of interventions for students who are having difficulty in and out of school. Our school mission for the year encapsulates our commitment: "To meet the diverse educational needs of all DeGolyer students." We look forward to a year of unprecedented growth for our students.
