Meet Ms. Holt, School Counselor ☀️
Ms. Holt is passionate about ensuring that every student is seen, heard, valued, and encouraged to become the very best version of themselves. She is entering her 2nd year as a school counselor, her 4th year at DeGolyer Elementary, and her 11th year in education.

Known for her energy, creativity, and positive spirit, Ms. Holt is dedicated to building a counseling program that uplifts, encourages, empowers, and ignites a passion for learning and personal growth in every student. She believes that all students—regardless of their abilities, resources, or current level of knowledge—are capable of achieving their goals and pursuing their dreams.

One of Ms. Holt’s favorite reminders for students is: “You don’t have to be at your best always, but you do have to give it your best.” She encourages students to embrace growth, persevere through challenges, and celebrate their progress along the way.

Whether students need support, encouragement, someone to listen, or help navigating challenges, Ms. Holt is here to help.
